Review of service provider services

As an operator, you have the ability to review the service offers made by Service providers and determine whether to publish or reject them.

Service Approval Process

With our COS Systems FTTH all-in-one solution, operators have full control over the services published on their network. The approval process ensures that all service offerings meet the operator’s guidelines before going live.

How It Works

Each Service Provider has a setting called Allowed to Publish, which determines whether their services require operator approval before being published. If this setting is set to No, any new or updated services from that provider must go through an approval process.

Step-by-Step Approval Process

  1. Service Provider Submission
When a Service Provider creates or updates a service, they will see the message: Waiting for review.

  2. Operator Notification
The system automatically sends an email to the operator, notifying them that a service is awaiting review. (Email template: Review service version.)

  3. Review & Comparison
The operator can review the service details, including pricing and descriptions. A Version difference link helps compare any edits made.

  4. Decision: Publish or Reject

    • Publish: The service goes live immediately.

    • Reject: The operator enters a reason for rejection in a pop-up form.

  5. Service Provider Notification
The Service Provider receives an email (template: Service reviewed) informing them of the decision. If the service was rejected, the email includes the reason.

  6. Resubmission (If Needed)
If the Service Provider makes changes and attempts to publish again, the approval process restarts.

This process helps maintain quality control while ensuring a smooth and transparent service approval experience for both Operators and Service Providers.
