How to understand the Spent time field in Tickets
The Spent time field in tickets is a free-text field. It is not automatically calculated based on how long the ticket has been open. Instead, it is designed for manual entry, giving you full control over how you track and record the time you have spent working on a specific ticket.
If no entry is made, the field will remain empty. To keep track of effort and resources, make sure to update the field whenever work is performed on the ticket. This ensures that reporting and follow-up activities can be carried out accurately.
The field is also included in the ticket export, which means that any logged values will be visible and available for further analysis outside the system.
