Swapping an ONT can be done efficiently either by creating a work order for a technician or manually via the Administration Portal.

Using a Work Order (Recommended for Technician Visits)
1. Create a Work Order Template:
Include the task type Assign ONT. This task allows connecting an ONT to the object by entering the serial number (manually or by scanning a QR code).
2. Create a Work Order for the Object/address
Choose the Template created above
3. Assign the Work order Task(s) to a technician
4. Technician Completes the Swap

- When the technician assigns a new ONT via the deployment portal, the currently connected ONT will automatically be replaced.
- There is no need to manually disconnect the current ONT beforehand.
Manual Swap via the Administration Portal
If a work order is not required, follow these steps:
- Go to the Object Page
- Click Disconnect to remove the current ONT connection.
- Click Connect ONT to assign the new ONT.
