How Operators Can Remove Services of a Specific Service Type from the Marketplace

Introduction

To maintain the relevance and accuracy of the marketplace, you may need to remove a service so that it is no longer visible to users. This guide will walk you through the steps required to hide a service from the marketplace in the COS Business Engine.

Solution Overview

Upon logging into COS Business Engine, users will type "Service Types" into the search bar on the left side of the Dashboard to access the list of current Service Types in your organization. 



On the Service Types screen, users can search for their complete list of Services and select a Service to make changes to it or to remove it from the Marketplace.

Once you have found the service type, click on it to open its details page. Click the "Edit" button to modify the service type settings. Find the visibility settings for the service. There you have the option to toggle the service's visibility on the marketplace. Set the visibility to "Not Visible" to remove it from public view. Below is a list of different visibility options.

• Always visible: Services are always shown on the Marketplace, whether a customer is allowed to order them or not. Order button is hidden, only information is displayed for those customers.
• Not visible: Services are not shown on the Marketplace. Could be used for internal services or services where service providers call customers for marketing.
• Visible if available: Services are only visible on the Marketplace if customer/object matches a filter, i.e. is allowed to order services of this service type.
  
  

After updating the visibility settings, click "Save" at the top of the page to apply the changes. Verify that the service is no longer visible on the marketplace by checking the marketplace interface or using the search functionality.
