Introduction
In COS Business Engine, objects such as network elements, customers, or services are often organized into groups for easier management. There may be occasions when you need to reassign or move objects from one group to another, such as during network restructuring, customer relocations, or updates in network provisioning.
This guide will walk you through the steps of moving objects from one group to another in COS Business Engine.
Solution Overview
To begin the process of changing which Group an Object belongs to, select the gear "settings" icon in the top right-hand side of the COS Business Engine and the navigate to the "Change Group" option under the Objects menu dropdown.
Select the Objects you wish to move to a new Group by checking the "box" next to them in the Search Objects page. Please note, if you wish to move a large amount of Objects (in the thousands or more), it is best to contact the COS Support Team for assistance.
Select the group to which you would like to move the objects in the drop down and Press Migrate.
