How to create a new Email Template

It is possible to create customized email templates for a Service Provider and/or a Partner, and use them to override existing email templates in COS Business Engine. This allows you to tailor customer communication for specific service types or partners.

Create a New Email Template

  1. Go to Email templates

  2. Click the email template you want to customize

  3. Open the Templates fly-in

  4. Click Add new

  5. Enter a name for your new email template and click Save

  6. Click Edit and customize the email content as needed

Your new email template is now created.


Apply the Email Template to a Service Type or Partner

To use the customized email template:

  1. Go to the relevant Service Type and/or Partner

  2. On the Service Type, open Workflow settings (fly-in)

  3. Select the Category: Mail text

  4. Click Edit

  5. Select your newly created email template

  6. Click Save


Result

The newly created email template will now be used for the selected Service Type (and/or Partner), overriding the default email template.

This makes it possible to:

  • Customize customer communication per service type

  • Use different email content for different partners

  • Maintain consistent branding and messaging
