How to add an Event for webhooks?
Note that the webhook feature can only be used if the operator has chosen to activate it.
Step 1: Create or Use an Existing User
To activate webhooks, you’ll need to associate them with a user.
-
You can create a new user or use an existing one.
-
If creating a new user:
-
Use a dummy email.
-
Do not enter any real personal information.
-
Give the user a clear, descriptive name (e.g., PRV Fiber Webhook).
-
-
Important: After selecting or creating the user, make sure to press the Activate webhooks button for that user.
Step 2: Enter Webhook Connection Details
Once the user is set, fill in the webhook-related fields:
-
Authorization header
-
Authorization key
-
Receiver (This is where the URL should go)
Double-check that the values are correct before saving.
Step 3: Subscribe to Webhook Events
In the Subscribed Webhooks section, add the events the partner or requester needs.
Some common examples include:
-
OrderActivated
-
SaveObject
-
OrderCreated
Always confirm the event list with the requester to ensure accuracy.
