How to Add a Credit to Multiple Customers Simultaneously
Introduction
COS Business Engine allows Service Provider Users to manage both credits and refunds on customer invoices — whether they are unpaid or already paid.
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for adding credits to multiple customers at the same time. This function is available only if you are using COS BE End Customer Billing.

Credits can be created from the Customer List or the Order List.

You can select one or several customers at once.

Steps to Add Credits to Multiple Customers

Navigate to the Customer or Order List

Select Customers
Choose one or several customers you want to credit. -
Choose Bulk Action “Add customer credit”
This will open the credit creation window. - Enter Credit Details

Copy from Template — Optional. You can select a predefined Transaction Template to automatically populate standard values. See the section below for more information about using templates.

Amount — The total amount that will be added as a credit to the selected customer(s). This field is mandatory.

Description — Optional. A short note describing the purpose of the credit. If a template is used, this field will be filled automatically.

GL Code — Optional. The general ledger code associated with the transaction. This value will also be applied automatically if defined in the selected template.

Send Notification to Customer — Optional. Enable this option to notify customers via email when the credit is created. The system will use the Billing: New Credits email template for these notifications.

Once submitted, the results and any errors will appear in the Notifications area at the top menu.
Credits and Available Funds
When a credit is added to a customer’s account, it becomes Available Funds. These funds are automatically used to pay the next invoice or on the customer’s autopay date—no manual action required. If needed, credits can be edited after creation.
